Aktive is the creator and manager of the annual RavaBIM seminar that in 2026 took place on 4th of February at Espoo, Finland. This seminar brings together all the stakeholders that have been developing digital building permit processes and all the relevant segments that have to implement the changes, such as building owners, municipalities, principal designers and architects, consultants and main contractors . The Finnish Building Act mandates that starting from 1st of January 2026, all building projects that require a building permit need to be applied along with the building drawings also with a Building information model or a machine readable data format that includes the same information as the building drawings used in permitting.
